There is a powerful subculture that has influenced the creation of the labs that we're talking about here.
There are many ways of describing this community.
There's the rationalists.
There's a sister community that is almost synonymous, that grew up alongside the rationalists, called effective altruism community.
These terms are being used to throw mud.
But the reality is, is that this community...
or this subculture, or however you want to describe it, has real power, has real influence, and has for many, many years.

Like what?
They're looking at all sorts of technologies that can supercharge our bodies and supercharge our minds, allow us to do things that we have never done.
