And so you become, like as a you know, a a a follower invested in someone's success.
And so it's just so funny to me that you're like someone might hear this and describe you as being uncaring when you clearly were given.
giving like so much boots on the ground care.
Um and I think a lot of people would have seen that.
And you see that, you know, you're also then tasked with l with restaurants and then with restaurants during the pandemic and like all these things.
So yeah, caregiver burnout, I mean that's a topic I feel like most people could go on and on about 'cause everyone has experienced some
amount of caregiving in their life or or they will be at one point dealing with that.
So um but it it kind of speaks to another thing that I think about with you a lot, which is the title of your last book, I hear she's a real bitch, and you and the how much you've talked about sort of public perception about you and you know being described as like difficult by like men in in the food industry, in the restaurant industry.
And women.
And women, yes, exactly.
But for and for so long.
Yeah knows.
Yeah.
Well, yeah, and we talk about this on our show like a lot.
Um, certainly the experiences of being in the in media and for Jan the Performing Arts, some of your like biggest distractors can be the people, the women who are loudly claiming to be the champion of other women and then really behind the scenes.
Uh so anyways, I feel like how do you sort of how do you reconcile like when when a group of people are getting something about you so wrong?
Like how do you how are you like, no, this isn't me at all?
And now there's just enough voices saying this that it's part of public discourse and it's it seems um it would really piss me off if that was me.
I kind of have a Bourdain question like on the topic of like being perceived because, you know, I think he admired you like openly and kind of enormously.
And in like the cool guy restaurant world, like Anthony Bourdain was like, you know, he was the the the tippy top.
