I spent my summers going to PEI.

Like that was my summer vacation standing every single year.

Um, and I've married a a Maritimer, he's from Nova Scotia, and his brother married an island girl and they live in North Rustico.

And so now our s our son gets to go back and have this like PEI summer experience.

It's like it's really amazing.

I just wanna know so 'cause you

You fell in love with, I guess, Anna Green Gables as every young girl does.

Yeah.

And was that kind of your initial introduction into PEI, which is now the setting for this book and future Netflix series?

And now they have literary benches for you.

Like they have like the benches in PEI for you, which is amazing.

I mean, everyone again, like the island loves when this type of stuff happens.

So when the story's set there, I know my island relatives, this was a big deal.

Um, and I think that this just makes must be so exciting for you that this all stemmed from like your initial girls' trip.

Well you get to sit on your own bench.

I have a toddler and I'm like, I know that it's a lot of sacrifice, obviously, when you're working, when both people are working and your parents.

And so there would be a lot of time that you would miss with your kids that would be challenging because of the immense career success you've had.

But I also, it does strike me as you're talking what an amazing thing it is to have two boys, especially who are five and nine, if I'm correct, see that like mom is this super successful.
