And he decided that the wisest thing to do would be to

consume the evidence and so ate an entire blotter of acid and then he would tell the story he was telling this story when we were like five or six that he was taken to the police station and held overnight and he did a lot of yoga at the time and apparently he meditated for the whole night that he was in the cell so that he wouldn't start tripping and they finally released him because there was no evidence it was inside him and then as he describes it the church over the road just took off like a rocket and I don't really remember the next three days and apparently at that point he had a vision that he was a shaman and that he was beyond karma

And I can confirm that he definitely parented to someone who believed he was beyond karma.

Oh, quite terrifying.

We lived in his moods.

And his mood was that he was a rock star.

It was like having a zoo animal in the house, that we had a rock star living in the house.

He thought he was John Lennon or Mick Jagger.

And by this point, we were living in a three-bedroom council house in Wolverhampton on benefits.

And it was exactly as if Mick Jagger was having to live in a three-bedroom council house.

Yeah, we just, we lived in his, his moods ruled the house.

And so we had to be very careful around him.

So for instance, he set up a little recording studio in the shed in the garden.

And for some reason, the electrics on it were really dodgy.

So whenever he was doing a vocal take, he would just storm into the house and go, someone has turned a light on and I can hear a clicking sound on my vocal track.

So we'd have to like time turning things on and off in the house around him singing.

And if we got it wrong, he would come storming in and just go, there's another number one hit single that you've all just ruined.

So we'd all have to lie on the floor in the dark and not put the TV on until he'd finished singing.

He was good at... He said two things at the time repeatedly that I never understood at the time.

But as I've got older, I go, those are actually quite valuable things to say.
