He's definitely old school, and I think he's a nice blend for that tournament because you only get us for a couple weeks.

You're trying to respect what everyone's doing in terms of their own organization and preparing for the season, but you're also there to win.

And I think he's done a real nice job of recognizing that there's limits on how many pitches you can throw, what you can do, but there needs to be that energy and that desire to compete.

I think this year we did our best job probably ever in terms of finding that balance.

We had, you know, about as talented a team as we could put out there and we played to win, but we put guys in positions to succeed and we didn't ask for anything that guys weren't capable of.

So, you know, I think Ernie did a great job and I'm sure this year was exciting for him to finally get over the hump.

Yeah, I think it's just it's unlike any other baseball you play.

It's closer to playoff baseball than it is regular season.

It's awesome to get to see all those guys, right?

Like a lot of those guys, you just don't interact with that often unless they happen to be on the same team you're on.

And, you know, some of them I played on the junior national team with.

But to your point, there aren't very many opportunities in our sport.

um, we play 162 game season.

There's only so much time for, uh, other events.

I think that that's a fantastic event.

I will continue to defend it.

I understand that it's happens at a weird time during the year, but like, if you, if you can't feel the energy through the TV, like you're not watching hard enough, like people care, everyone cares, you know, I don't know, especially it felt like in Puerto Rico, it was, it was crazy.
