I think that Congress should have repealed it years ago, but it chose not to do so.
And this has nothing to do with the children of freed slaves.
It has been used basically as a get into America free deal.
And I don't think any nation that allows this kind of thing, including open borders during the Biden administration, will be able to sustain its character for long.
Well, as Justice Alito said, Election Day means a day.
It is the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
That's in the Constitution.
What we need in this country, among other things, is election integrity.
People need to feel safe.
that the election results were honest, that the votes were counted properly.
We have what we call in this country vote harvesting now, where people are able to go to retirement homes and get the ballots from people who are in those homes and then take them to
to the polling place.
Now that just opens up all kinds of questioning about the validity of such things.
I mean, when I started voting, I went to the polls on election day and on occasion I had to file an absentee ballot, it was called, when I was out of town on election day or too ill to go to a polling place.
All of that has been done away with now.
And I think that's one of the reasons a lot of people question the election results.
Yeah, well, of course I was quoting a minority opinion, but that doesn't mean the opinion is invalid.
There have been plenty of minority opinions over the years that wound up becoming majority opinions later under a different court and under different circumstances.
I think you just have to look at the original intent of what the founders intended and what Congress intended when they passed amendments and when they passed legislation.
