They didn't have a great winning record this year.

So this is a very big deal for them.

So I'm very proud of them.

My boys do spend about seven hours outside and about seven hours on their iPads.

I'm going to definitely oppose this.

No surprise, I wasn't consulted about it.

I think 80% of the businesses that we are seeking to do are in my district and being not consulted on it, it's a little bit irritating, but I'll give you my reasons why I'm opposing it.

It really deviates from the project plan, what everybody expected, we voted on it.

It also drastically reduces the depth and diversity as Supervisor Letourneau said, we have a ZOC committee for a reason.

narrow and I think risk the diversity of the review that we have if we were to all of a sudden, and we're trying to speed something up and I get it, and it sounds like we have successfully accomplished moving it a little further along, but why have a ZOC committee if they're not going to

the committee itself.

And I think it's helpful, as Supervisor Letourneau said, is, yeah, maybe some of them don't have expertise on this in some of these areas, but they do frequent these businesses, they do frequent Western Loudoun, and they live in the county as a whole.

And some of them have some really excellent business experience that I think could weigh in on some of these things, which perhaps those who even are going to be more interested in Western Loudoun things don't have.

So I think that's something

to also consider.

I think the proposed dissolution date asks this ad hoc committee, so to speak, to work through August and our staff.

That's our break period.

I just don't think that's really practical, quite frankly.

It is outside what everyone anticipated.
