They had a piece of land that I think they were gonna subdivide by right.
They were in their 90s, I believe.
They had come to end of life.
They needed end of life care.
They were planning on selling the property.
In the meantime, we had changed the zoning ordinance and a portion, I think it was 95 feet of their
of the road that would have come in and serve these parcels unfortunately fell within the steep slopes and there was nothing quite frankly staff could do about it and I know we tried and tried and we try to figure out a way and so they I don't know if they're still alive honestly I don't know what their situation is but they had planned for that it was an investment that they had had and they could not
in any way do anything about it, simply because 95 feet, as I understood it, had fallen in steep slopes because of the changing in the mapping.
And so these are kind of some of the, I think one of the things we've talked about is flexibility.
It's talked a lot about in this item.
I think Supervisor Turner talked about it, to what degree.
I think that's a perfect example of some sort of administrative flexibility that should probably be allowed or looked at.
How would we have been able to deal with that at that time?
