So I think we all agree.

The protections we have in here are probably really good.

I don't know.

But obviously the idea is we want to preserve as much of the tree cover as we can.

But I do agree with most of these possible considerations, especially one that says simplify.

And to Mr. Wieck's point,

I think we have a great county step, but even county staff sometimes gets confused.

I mean, I had a constituent recently who wanted to put in a small shed.

It was an M. O. D. They had to go through a bunch of plat plat process.

They spent $4,000 and staff came back said, Oh, well, there was a misinterpretation because of this overlay over here.

He had to wait another eight another eight months to go through a new process which cost additional money.

So the more we can simplify it,

the better.

I'm not saying there's ever been any confusion about this one, but what I have found in my office is sometimes these things are so cumbersome and there's overlay here and there's nothing, that even staff who works with this all the time gets confused and it ends up costing the individual a significant amount of money, a much more delayed time, and when you could
