So I appreciate Supervisor Crony's statements, but I'm the one that asked that this be put in a strategic plan when I came on the board last term. podcast-host

And this is finally a little bit of a culmination of some of those discussions when we had our strategic meeting last time. podcast-host

It was again reiterated, and I think everybody on this board agreed that we should look at this. podcast-host

So to bring this up now and suggest that we shouldn't spend $375,000 podcast-host

to pursue a really strong good look at this is a little bit surprising to me. podcast-host

But with that said, my vision has always been, you know, obviously ideally that this would produce some economic development within the county because it's going to be an attraction. podcast-host

And I've constantly called this the equine, Ag Equine Center. podcast-host

and I specifically asked for that because I want it be concentrated on equine because of the, and by the way, buddy, we need to do a new study on equine numbers in Loudoun County because the ones we have are pretty stale, but I know they've grown and they're significant, and we're talking about, podcast-host

a couple hundred million dollars annually that we're bringing to Loudoun County through our equine development. podcast-host
