Very easy for taggers to be able to grab it and slap that tag down.

His framing is solid.

And I love how he's animated back there.

Oftentimes, you'll see him tapping his glove on the ground.

He'll be...

using his pointer finger to tap the side of his head, like, hey, make sure you think about this pitch.

He's a very engaged type of catcher.

And I love that because it breathes confidence into your pitchers.

It just breathes life into them.

And sometimes you believing more in them than their pitches, it creates confidence.

conviction in those pictures.

And so he has all the tools.

He's got everything that I would kind of mold and match to be a catcher.

And I think defensively he is, he's, he's in a really, really good spot and just continuing to rep out those games situations where this pitch is better than that, or they can try to slow the tempo down by doing this.

Those repetitions are really the only thing that's lacking for me because all the tools are

scream big time catcher.
