I totally was taken aback with how much he put out there.

I knew he would be moved.

I knew he'd be grateful.

I knew he would be warm and accessible and smiling and grateful.

I just did not expect the full-on tears, to be honest with you.

And it's indicative of how he truly feels about this team, this city, the memories and

so many years you know when you're drafted and developed and then you spend a large portion of your entire professional career every experience outside of what he has now you just you grow up and you have a lot of life experiences you make a lot of lifelong friends and it's not often that you can say that you pretty much came up with one of your best friends all the way through the minor leagues all the way through the big leagues hitting certain milestones together

And there's a comfort level that Bo had with Vladdy.

And I feel like Vladdy would say the same thing about Bo in that they were each other's best coaches, probably best friends on the team, most known, most understood.
