And they didn't even have to really speak.
They'd been around each other so long that they just knew.
And when you don't have that and you kind of enter back into that arena, I think there's a lot of emotions that really hit you.
He signed a little bit late.
He went straight to spring training.
started getting acclimated and really moving on.
And I don't know if he fully had time to really sit back and like kind of say goodbye or let the process unfold where he could really work through all of this stuff.
And before you know it, the season starts and Barker, you know, it just, it starts going and like, you just, you just start playing and you get occupied and then you, you land in Toronto at Pearson and then you start taking the bus trips and man, you start seeing maybe it's restaurants or certain streets that you walked around with
this person or that person, and then you come to the stadium and all of it just kind of hits you at once.
And so I do think that the saying the grass isn't greener on the other side is very true.
And I think there's, you know, a part of Bo that probably misses this place.
They were very good to him and he performed very well here.
And yeah, but to see that raw emotion, I think is really indicative of how he really is a human.
Even though he's very stoic, he feels deeply about certain things.
And I feel like his love for Toronto and the Blue Jays in general was shown last night.
And good for him because that's who he really is.
He really cares deeply about Toronto.
what he does and how he's perceived.
And I'm glad that the Blue Jays fans really received him the way they did last night.
Well-deserved.
