And that is the hard part to have to reconcile.
Once again, they got so, so close.
Taking it to overtime, coming back yet again, despite having a tie game at half.
Very different.
But unfortunately, we are in this place.
The NFL playoff weekend had one overtime thriller where we saw tears in the locker room after the game.
And you're thinking to yourself, oh man, there was the one game.
Oh no, no, Bears-Rams gave you another thriller.
And I guess it's suiting and fitting that they lose this game in the way that they had won so many before.
Definitely soothing.
Not necessarily soothing unless you look at the entire apparatus and understand you came into the season saying, I need to make sure we have a head coach, not just a play caller.
I need to make sure that we have a quarterback of the future.
You have those things.
And that quarterback, a big reason why is because of the magic that he pulls out of his hat from time to time.
I don't know, say when you're down and desperately need a score to keep the game going.
