And then this week it's been cool.

Like the work that I did technically last week, we can sort of test that in the conditions that I'm sort of going to get, which is being good.

I played yesterday and it all feels like it's going in a good direction.

So now you just go over and enjoy yourself and yeah.

throw a few balls out there and and just have a chip around greens and stuff like that having different shots i'd love to know how you actually prepare to put yourself in the best position to play well in a couple of weeks yeah i mean it's it's kind of um much the same as when you're sort of preparing for any tournament like you do your skills work you do your practice um you know whether that be on the range or um you're putting in short game stuff and then when you get out on course you're

You know, you're typically just trying to put in play what you've been sort of doing.

So, you know, the last couple of times I've played now, it's been... And, you know, the guys on the PGA Tour talk about this all the time.

When you get over to the Lynx golf courses, you really have to be, you know, in a good space with shot shaping and picking different shots.

So...

You know, when I'm out on the golf course, like the last couple of days I've played, it's really just been about, you know, play one ball, try and execute the shot, be really sort of deliberate about what you're trying to do.

You know, almost feel like, in a way, like you're playing a tournament.

And, you know, it's been good.

I've just played with a couple of mates first.

you know, like lunch or, and things like that.

And then, um, most of the time it's gone my way lately, which is good.

Yeah I have actually so I've got a good friend of mine who's on the English golf team and I've been quite fortunate you know like obviously I could go to Birkdale if I want but I think you know there's a lot to be said about sort of over preparing and getting sort of too far ahead of yourself so I'm going to play three different golf courses next week two of them are within 10 minutes or one of them is next door to Birkdale and then

Then I'm going to play Lytton, which would be cool.

That's also an open golf course.

So, yeah, I'm just going to try and sort of get over there and have a bit of a practice around similar golf courses.

They're not going to be the same, but playing in those sort of conditions on any golf course, you know, if you're scoring well around any sort of links golf course, it sort of puts you in good stead going forward.
