So we contributed to their success in 07 because they went on a pretty big run after that.
From a coaching point of view, we played there and Subiaco was skinny so we thought it matched up really well but we just could not win down there even when we were in really good form as a club.
But what Brisbane did was different.
They played there last year.
They won by 40 points and
I'm sure they'll look at some things they did.
They controlled the game even more than their usual control game.
So they had 64 extra possessions.
They kept Geelong to just 50 points.
They won the tackle count, so they're nice and tough.
But their turnover game was really interesting.
They kicked seven goals, five from the back half, and that's really difficult to do.
That's the perception when you play down there.
They did it with a bit more control than chaos, so...
keep the ball off Geelong, change angles, use the whole ground, sort of what they did.
So it wasn't really a stoppage game.
It was a turnover game.
They kicked 10 goals, six from intercepts.
So it's different than the other times they've played, whether it's been the Gabba or the MCG.
I can't help but think that Brisbane will look at some of the things they did well.
