The wildest thing to me is this guy came up a catcher.
They had a need at first base a couple years ago, and they're like, you know what?
You're a first baseman now, buddy.
Get out there.
And he essentially learned that position on the fly while still trying to hit in the big leagues and find his way at the plate.
And he's worked a lot with Paul Goldschmidt over the last year and a half.
I think that has helped.
His defense has improved dramatically.
But more than anything, it's that bat in the lineup that certainly the Yankees are grateful for.

I have to be honest with you.
When I looked at the series, I generally do my schedule in January, and this is what I circled as.
I probably can take that one off.
I don't necessarily need to be a part of that one.
Who saw this coming from the White Sox, honestly?
So much credit to them and that organization, the way they were able to turn things around so quickly.
But, you know, as far as the Yankees starters that you're going to see throughout the course of the series and the Yankees starters, even tonight with Garrett Cole going, I mean, he has had some hiccups.
His last start, he was gassed by the end of it.
He's still getting his legs completely under him.
He had some long innings.
