Remember from Apollo 8, where the Earth is rising above the moon?
They're going to try to recreate that from that.
And it might sound trivial.
But really, if you think of it, these are the kinds of images that get people excited about space, that galvanize attention, pull people into it.
And so I'm looking to see what they come back with.
I know that Jeremy Hansen, he's a really good photographer.
Christina Koch, this is what she does when she isn't flying in space.
She is a photographer.
Phenomenal.
Follow her on Instagram.
She's amazing.
So I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like through their eyes.
And the photographer in me just cannot wait to see the imagery.
I mean, only one slight hold.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Launch and reentry are the two greatest risk periods of any orbital or beyond orbit flight.
And so, and as we've learned, certainly with Challenger and Columbia,
uh that's when those accidents happen so um you know yeah you kind of hold your breath for those first eight ish or so minutes as it's uh flying certainly while the solid rocket boosters are are firing for the first couple of minutes that is like the worst right for the astronauts it's the most violent part of the ride it's very rough because solids burn roughly
And then, of course, as soon as they break free, as soon as they jettison them, it's a much smoother ride and it's certainly much safer.
