I'm always worried about batteries on planes.
There is going to be a new limit on chargers that people can carry on planes.
Here I was just worrying about the smoke.
I didn't even realize the fire.
I imagine these things just pop, sizzle, and don't cause a fire, but I guess they do.
I mean, imagine you're like midway over the Atlantic, like several hours from an airport.
Oh, yeah, I guess there's that.
The plugs are, yeah, because whenever I travel, I'm always like, oh, damn, I can't charge my phone.
I don't have a battery.
I've never bought one.
They're too bulky for me.
I don't know.
over christmas i was like last aboard the plane when we were heading to miranda's hometown my girlfriend's hometown and they're like i got gate checked and my carry-on got and they're like do you have any batteries in there i'm like yeah i got a couple i had a couple mini computers in there that i was bringing to california whatever and i was like oh
my excuse they're gonna let me carry on my bag instead they made me like remove the batteries the two computers mini i had to like carry these clunky computers they checked my bag anyway but they always do ask when they check your bag like are because that's the real worry that it happens under the plane and you can't get to it with a fire extinguisher i imagine planes have fire extinguishers all of them on board hidden somewhere where the crew knows
Today I learned from Carmi Levy, don't buy an El Cheapo battery pack to charge my phone.
And if I do, do not bring it on a plane.
Carmi, it has been a joy having you on the program.
Thanks for being here.
