That's the identity question, not where can I randomly cut some slides?
Or where can I get rid of half of my framework?
Where are you using more content to prove that you belong?
Because the thought leader version of you does not need to prove everything.
In the room.
You need to lead the audience somewhere.
And sometimes that means leaving good material out.
Now, this is why I love having a podcast because I have every single week where I can explore different ideas and different examples and different pieces of content.
I don't have to pack it all into one 45-minute or 60-minute talk.
So if you're like me, you may want to start a podcast.
But if
for that time you have together with the audience, think about what is gonna serve them the most.
When your talk has too much content, people may leave feeling impressed.
