around forty years old and actually do something which really helped, you know.

So give back a little bit of reciprocity um to the place where I was born.

And that was always my intention.

But I had no idea that this was the journey that I was going to take to get there.

And it was, you know, JC fell in love with um when we were visiting Peter um Vinderson and he brought us up to this piece of land.

Beautiful place where we are.

It's such a wonderful, cool climate region.

You know, all these mountains.

I think he probably felt at home that there were mountains around, it was close to the ocean.

Um but I didn't have any idea that um he was going to tell me that you know um that he'd actually bought

this property and it was um it was like wow um quite a thing I have to say.

But it was actually almost perfect timing.

It was about two years before I had imagined myself being back in South Africa when I was just twenty one years old.

So I was about th I was thirty eight when I came back to South Africa.

So I think the other thing that um JC's very um sort of excited about is the fact that we sit in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom and the biodiversity obviously around us is phenomenal.

Um and that is really good from an ecology point of view, just in terms of the whole ecosystem, you know, the Hemlinado translates to the place of heaven and earth.

Um and then all of these plant species around us and all of the wild animals, um it just the um biome is a critical part really of terwa as well, I think.

Yeah, so our philosophy is all around wine and wellness.

And, you know, JC's spoken about the virus three vineyards, so it starts with the health of the vineyards and the health of the environment because we believe that
