But to get back to the magic wand, selfishly,
As a new entrant teacher of many, many years, I think for me, it would be more funding in that space.
So more funding in transitioning children.
But particularly if I think about our ratios and great quality ECEs, one to eight is the ratio of adult to children.
When we get into primary school, 15 is the magic number, but often it's a lot more than that.
You know, as a new entrant teacher, I rarely had 15 children.
and just one adult.
So you would want to see the funding go towards smaller classes, basically.
Smaller classes or more adults in the room to support our beautiful children.
In a time when developmentally it's still going on, you know, 80% of their brains develop, the rest is still happening for them, and they need a lot more support, I think.
So, yeah, Magic Wand, if it was anything, probably would be more money spent in that area.
Or even a teacher.
a teaching assistant.
It's the next 3,000 days, isn't it?
You know, like you talk about the first 1,000 days, but what about another 3,000 after that?
We need a bit of, we need help here.
We need support.
We had to really narrow it down.
Mines isn't a judgment call, but it's definitely about us.
And I mean, I'm a parent, I'm a grandparent, and it's being really mindful of how often we are on our screens.
