And that's something that I think you have to give, you know, the coaching staff, including Thiago, a lot of credit for the way that they were able to shape Denny into a guy who, again, got to the rim, got to put his head down, got to the free throw line, shot three-pointers, played the style of basketball they wanted to play offensively.

And then the improvement on defense, I believe that Blazers finished, I think, I think maybe 15th or 12th in defensive efficiency this season, which...

would have been unheard of for the last couple of seasons.

And that was even with enduring a lot of injuries that, that really, you know, kept them from being able to play the way they wanted to.

Tiago likes to play a lot of guys, particularly early on in the season.

He wants to have a deep rotation because he wants to be rotating guys in and out to really get into players defensively.

So I think you're going to,

You're going to see a guy who's taken a lot of the principles of kind of new style NBA basketball, made some tweaks to them.

A lot of the stuff that worked for him in Paris, I think he's tried to implement in the NBA.

So you're going to see a different style of basketball than you saw from Billy Donovan.

But I think, you know, there's probably going to be some bumps along the way.

But I was really impressed by the way that Thiago grew as a tactician as the season went on.

You know, there are a couple late game situations in Portland where,

you know, Tiago drew up some plays that won the game for Portland.

And obviously the players have to go out and execute those things, but you got to have smart guys drawing those things up.

And Tiago was one of those guys.

So I, I think that there's, you know, as any young head coach in the NBA, there's going to be a learning curve for Tiago and,

But I think he probably got a lot of that stuff out of the way this last season, and he probably learned quite a few things.

He'll be able to bring in his own staff, again, something he was not able to do in Portland.
