like if you're an adult and you had a mini fridge in your room it's like takes away from the decor it's childish you know people would be like why don't you just walk to the fridge this is the refrigerator okay it's a drawer sized fridge so you don't have to be the guy with the mini fridge in your room it slides out from under the bed or it like connects to your desk or whatever it's like you would have it would look like you just have a normal drawer under your bed you roll over ice cold gatorades in there
I think that would be great. Wouldn't that be fantastic? I was just thinking about we should get a mini fridge for our little office that we can put Diet Cokes in. Yes. And stuff that other people can't take unless they ask. Should you take your Diet Cokes? What?

Ten-year-old Lewis and six-year-old Temple Abernathy. have decided to cross America by horseback without adult supervision from Oklahoma to Manhattan. How old are they? Ten years old. Ten and six. Oh, my God. They crossed over 2,000 miles. Louis Budd Abernathy and Temple Abernathy were the sons of Jack Abernathy, a U.S. Marshal and good friend of President Roosevelt.
Jack was appointed by Roosevelt to keep peace in the Oklahoma territory. We'll put a picture of them right here, but for your own bookkeeping, that's them. In 1910, the boys wanted to meet their dad's friend and former president, Teddy Roosevelt. So they rode on horseback approximately 2,000 miles from Oklahoma to New York City to meet Roosevelt as he returned from an African safari.
They traveled without adult supervision, facing harsh weather, river crossings, and wild animals. Word of their trip lit up telegraph lines all across the East, and eventually the Abernathy Boys were famous everywhere they went. Once reaching New York, they rode their horses behind President Roosevelt in a parade celebrating his cavalry regimen, known as the Rough Riders. This is them doing that.
Wait. They just rode behind the Rough Riders? yeah in sick in 1911 the brothers bought an automobile and drove it back home themselves making them the youngest cross-country drivers ever this is them in the car
Wait, how do they like feed themselves? I'll tell you. Some of the people who had, this is a quote from them. Some of the people who had the least to give were the ones who gave us the most along the road food, shelter, and friendship. And when we looked for some good in everyone, we usually found it even in the bandits we met in New Mexico. Isn't that fucking crazy? Yeah, those kids sound awesome.
That was actually about a different trip. That was their first round trip to Santa Fe and back prior to their New York journey. But, like, that's insane.

That's actually crazy. Were you in kindergarten or preschool? Kindergarten, right? I have no idea. So I think first grade maybe? No.
Yeah. Catherine Jean's class was six through nine, I think. But that to me still feels hilarious. Like when I was nine... You're still a child, but I remember being like, six-year-olds are still like babies.
