So a little bit of background, a little bit of context.

Now, again, if you're new, what you might not know is I've been running a speaking and communication coaching and training business now for the last six years.

And in fact, I started this business in response to the question that I continued to get.

I was working in the public sector.

I was a senior leader and

in local government and people would consistently say to me, Kat, can you show me how you do what you do?

Can you show me how you stand on stage and command an audience?

Can you show me how you rock up to meetings and get what it is that you want from the meeting?

Kat, can you tell me how you manage it when people ask you something that you weren't expecting?

You always seem so cool, calm and collected.

Can you teach us how to do that?

Now, back then, back in 2020, I thought what they were asking was, can you show us how to present?

Can you teach us how to present and how to communicate?

And yes, that was absolutely part of it.

And so I created a program called Impactful Presenters.

I went through all the foundations of presenting information, structuring for impact, stage presence, all that kind of stuff.

But what I've learned over the last six years is actually what people were most puzzled by was how did I take a conversation and regardless of the inputs, whether it was in a meeting or in a panel conversation on stage, regardless of the inputs, how would I still integrate all of the things and wrap it up with a really nice, tiny, tidy bow?
