Yes, well, it was Tuesday when this name was passed to me from a very reliable source, I would say.

It was also passed to a colleague of mine in the Irish Independent.

And on that basis, the first port of call was to try and make contact with Mr Glennon himself.

There were a number of mobile numbers for him.

I used those.

I called him, no answer.

I left voicemails, I left text messages, and I repeated that process over and over on Tuesday.

Getting nowhere.

So as you say, he's very well known for his career with Edelman.

He is a public affairs advisor.

He's been with them since 2008.

So that was the next port of call, I suppose.

For me, I went and called Edelman Ireland, called the switchboard and spoke to a woman on the phone, said I'd been trying to get Mr. Glennon to no avail.
