So I suppose coming all the way forward then to May of 2023, your boys were older at this stage.
So he was feeling OK while he was in there.
It's not that he was like progressively getting worse.
And so they were doing all these tests.
And then I suppose when at the end of the 10 days to two weeks, what were they telling you?
Tell me about that day before you get the full diagnosis.
Like when you go home, just if I'm to slow down and think about like the fear, the unknown.
Was that a devastating day?
Like when they said it's almost certainly...
And also the doctors obviously tell you they don't have a treatment for him.
Yeah.
Yeah, I can't imagine that the sense of the knowing no one's it would probably feel like no one's going to try and save you.
What happens when...
When you figured that out, you obviously have to figure that, the consultants obviously tell you that, that it's not available, that you'll have to pay.
And so you're left with the option of buying it essentially yourself.
Yeah.
And it costs what?
Hundreds of thousands?
That's the most insane thing I've ever heard.
