And I'm excited to be here talking about this topic.

Yes, as you had said, my entrance into the field was unique in that I had the experience as a parent for a few years at that point.

So when I first ventured out, you know, when we're young and we're like, okay, what are we going to do with our lives?

What's that saying?

Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life.

I think a

I had thought teaching maybe, working with children in some capacity.

I wasn't sure if like school psychologist fit me.

So I was really trying to feel all of that out.

So that was my beginning years in college.

Simultaneously, our eldest, Jake, he had been diagnosed already at that point with multiple things, primarily cerebral palsy.

a seizure disorder.

And so he was already receiving a lot of in-home services at that time.

He wasn't yet in school.

And I had the opportunity because it was in home to participate in a lot of those services as did my husband.

And it was just, it was really nice to be able to be on that side of it and just really our eyes be opened and encouraged.

and hopeful for these services that existed.

So as you know, anyone who from a clinic clinician side who works with parents, you form a relationship and a rapport, right?
