The wheels start to fall off, and you get tired.
And I think in the playoffs, we maybe see a little bit of that, some fatigue.
Now, one of the reasons I like this idea, and I could be sold on it, is if you keep Lyon as a backup or maybe even Ellis, but let's say Lyon, you would keep Lyon because I would, you can ask Hellebuck to play 50 games for you, and then you can get 34 out of Lyon.
And then now all of a sudden, you have a fresh...
Connor Hellebuck going into the playoffs and he's not, you know, 60 something games deep into a season at, you know, 33 years old too, not to mention, uh, where Winnipeg really can never offer that.
I mean, Eric Homery was their backup last year and we kind of saw how that went, um, here in Buffalo and, uh,
There's been some guys, like Brassois was okay for a couple years, but they fully rely on him.
Every year, if he's healthy, he's playing 60 to 65 games.
That's a lot of games.
So that's why the playoff things, while the numbers are bad, I contribute a lot of that to it.
You know, you could think about the Olympics, too, is he was injured.
And then, you know, so he was off for a little bit.
He got healthy, went to the Olympics.
And you could say, well, he was fresh for that.
And then look how he performed when he was fresh, you know, coming off that injury and, you know, playing as well as he did.
So that's going to be another, you know, pin in the cap.
And sorry if I'm selling people like, you know, this is a good idea.
And it's not going to happen.
