no it was uh it was frustrating but it wasn't like that it was fuel it was fuel of the fire because i knew i mean i knew i was coming back yeah i mean i there was scary thoughts going in my head about like how dangerous i was going to be when i came back so i knew i was going to be a force and all it did was say brother you're in trouble man you're just stealing my stuff um trying to make it your own and not only that but being awesome at it to his credit like
He took it, ran with it to a degree that maybe nobody else that I can even think of would have.
And so it was that that made the magic.
It was competitive fire and spirit that it doesn't exist often, but when you find it, it's like lightning in a bottle, man.
When it's two guys just trying to best each other competitively, professionally, personally, everything.
It was all on the line and you saw what happens when that happens.
So I had seen it play out a little bit.
I knew how in love with him they were.
I was surprised at how much they hated me, to the degree that they hated me.
It was as if I, and I did, had insulted an entire culture of people.
