And at that point, not just Parliament, not just the opposition parties, the provinces will also get to decide whether that give is worth it.

And I'll remind you that back at the time of the FTA, Ontario decided that it wasn't

good enough for it.

Mostly, I think, because it had the auto pact in place already, so it didn't have as much to gain as other provinces.

But still, that debate did happen.

It wasn't a sign that Canada was going to break up, that Ontario said no to the FTA, while Quebec and Alberta said yes.

We had an election and moved on.

I've seen the snap election rumors, and I find that that would be like calling people to a banquet with a half-baked cake.
