I think even so for myself, from a personal experience, I had a sexual assault overseas by another sexologist at a sexology congress. matched

Uh, in front of sex f in front of another group of sexologists and it was someone that, um matched

had portrayed himself well he he had told all of us that he was homosexual and in a homosexual uh relationship so I let him come closer to me than I usually would and then he uh forced himself on me in fr a at a event in a bar with other sexologists there. matched

So w I mean, what do what do you do? matched

Uh, for me this it was overwhelmingly shameful and embarrassing and so I left the situation clearly in tears and matched

uh went back to my hotel and and found a friend. matched

It was my choice to decide what to do with that situation. matched

And I couldn't have uh I couldn't have made myself safer. matched

It was just y you know, you're being human and it w I wasn't even overly vulnerable. matched

You were just there with someone. matched

Often when you are sexually assaulted, it is from someone that you don't know. matched

But uh in in matched

other cases you you know, you can be groomed or someone can set their sights on you and and uh you just kind of matched

End up in a situation. matched
