This is somebody who exhibited all of the arrogance that you expect from a person who belongs to an institution that has been described as being the fourth branch of government or independent within our system, which means unaccountable.
This is a person who was willing to lie brazenly to change the behavior of free people.
uh so yeah i'm with you i i think this is a good example of problems within our government where i get off that boat i'm not saying you don't where i get off that is i don't think replacing that problem with other conspiracy theories or other people who are susceptible to conspiracy theories is the right way of doing it but

This was not Americans being recalcitrant.
This is not Americans being uneducated.
It's not Americans being selfish.
The public health authorities disgraced themselves.
And it's not a coincidence, I think, that around the same time this was happening, the same people suddenly decided that men could become women and rewrote all of the medicine.
All of the understanding of our biology that they had been promulgating for thousands of years on the fly and then expected us not to notice.
So over the same 10-year period, those people killed themselves in the public estimation and deservedly so.
The racism claim... Instead... Go on.
I was going to say, the racism claim was amazing.

I was just going to say, Rich pointed out that it was always inexplicable that it was somehow more racist to think that it came out of a lab than it came out of a wet market.
the discrediting of the public health authorities during covid was perhaps second to the discrediting of the notion of racism which was already on its last legs is if you go through the history the the people who shout racist at everyone did so at various points in completely contradictory ways if you remember the early days the first couple of weeks of it
Nancy Pelosi and others in California were saying it was racist to be worried about the COVID virus and that it would lead to hatred of Asians.
And they went out in California into Chinatown and various parades and made a big spectacle of appearing in public to prevent this racism.
that was apparently being thrown, I assume, from the right in fear of COVID.
