If you have that type of information, take it to law enforcement because oftentimes the only thing that it does is create confusion.

They are intended to look like the police is doing something in terms of being in touch with victims and their families.
And I'm not necessarily saying that they aren't.
But what I'm saying is at the end of the day, remember that they work for law enforcement.
They are not independent.
They are not unbiased in terms of how their their job.
is to keep families calm their job is to do enough so that families don't go crazy in the media and start airing out everything that's happening behind the scenes their job is to sort of serve as the pacifier and i don't think that the public understands that because they haven't always existed and so in terms of them existing now the public may think oh this is a step in the right direction well it's a dressed up way of trying to keep these families from being too angry
