And by way of just simply documenting with transparency what it is that you were observing, only further to buttress your case that you were there as an observer exercising the right to freedom of the press, the right to freedom of speech.

So I can't for the life of me figure out why there was any sort of assumption made that you were with them, but certainly your responses that I heard on this audio were extremely clear and straightforward and leave no sort of room for misinterpretation.

You know, Don, Monique raises a very good point here because part of the reason that media is in the state that it is is because Donald Trump, the civilian, not necessarily Donald Trump, the president, has already shown himself to be incredibly litigious over media when things are misstated here.

It seems to be an intentional misstating of the facts, even when there doesn't seem to be an intentional misstating of the facts.

The media should have known better and did not sort of approach things more carefully.

He has shown himself willing to litigate.

And I'm not giving you legal advice here.

All I'm saying is.

people have made some changes because of the way that the litigation has moved and it hasn't gone well for the media outlets.

And if there's anything to be taken away from this, it is that there should be the same demand for accuracy

for objectivity and for fairness from all media outlets, even as media outlets are covering you as a member of the media when you're doing your job.

Certainly, I would be mindful and suggest that you might be mindful of

what is out there coming from official outlets versus what is not an official outlet, and just sort of cataloging that so you have that information.

I would be aware of that.

And then, of course,

To the extent that you yourself don't have to take account of it, it may help to sort of see whether that has influenced conversation about your reputation online or what have you.

But without any of the facts, it's very difficult to say whether there is a case that exists.

It's possible upon looking at the totality of everything that I was just talking about that there may be something worth further exploration.
