Right.
And if you act in that old way, which is I'm operating just inside the legal boundaries of what it means to be a company.

Milton Friedman.
In fact, it was it was in the New York Times, not the Wall Street Journal, interestingly enough.
The per the purpose of companies.
If you operate that way, you will not get license to operate inside good communities.
You will not attract the best people.
And your investors know that you're not actually aiming for the long term.
Because anyone who wants to build a company, we're fifty two years in a Patagonia.
If you want to be a hundred and two years in as Patagonia, you have to aim for the horizon, not for the next quarter.
Right.
If you aim for the next quarter, you will find that you have stubbed your toe.
What it means is, you know, what goes around comes around.
So you can't do things that jack sh jack up short-term profit, which damage communities, which exploit your workforce, um, which con your customers, right?
And which damage the, you know, the planet that gives us the ultimate license to operate.
All these things must come together in the end, right?
