And then One Call Away was a very hot AC song, which is like, who cares now?
People love music of all ages now.
But it was just different back then.
It's a different vibe.
We had to really grind that record.
And then we got that record to number one at hot AC.
And it was a really big deal.
And then We Don't Talk Anymore came out and that was my first top 10 Billboard Hot 100.
And that was an even bigger deal.
It was more, yeah, it was more of a me thing.
And I remember we were mixing another record that I wasn't really, it was fine.
I just wasn't like really passionate about it.
And I remember going to Larrabee Studios in Hollywood and we were mixing it and it was me, Mike Caron, and Miles Beard.
We were all sitting in there and Miles and I really loved it.
We don't talk anymore because it's really about his wife now.
They had broken up at the time.
