Yeah, the government has put out a consultation last year about changing the system.
We have a system that's pretty unique in Europe where you have all these companies competing side by side, it's called, for your business.
So, you know, you could have Panda, you could have Citibin, you could have a number of different companies competing for your business if you're in an urban area.
But whereas some rural areas don't have much of a bin service or else there's a monopoly in some areas.
So the government looked at the kind of system that's standard across Europe where they put out a tender and one company gets the franchise to operate in a geographical location.
So all of North County Dublin might be covered by one company instead of having five or six.
different bin companies competing on a house-by-house basis for your business.
It's the standard way to do it.
It seems better.

And the government looked at this and they have a feasibility study of transitioning away from the side-by-side system to what they call a franchise tendering system.
