And its charismatic leader and founder, Mary Carol McDonald, has been known over the years for telling these wonderful, wonderful, very famous true crime stories.

And ultimately, she started this company and didn't pay a lot of the people.

So these people were working tired.

Tirelessly, all these long hours.

If you heard anything about working in production, basically you work more than 12 hours.

So these people are working all these long hours, they're not getting paid.

And she would just keep giving these false promises like, Oh yeah, another week.

Oh yeah, another month.

And she started racking up like some people were owed over like twenty thousand dollars.

And I don't know, it I just felt like it touches on a cycle.

Of abuse that is not talked about enough in reality TV.

I mean, we've seen it play out in different series like Unreal or more recently, the America's Next Top Model documentary.

How obviously it talks mostly about the contestants, but it doesn't really speak a lot about what happens behind the scenes.

So I wanted to just talk a little about that and expose some.
