But when we're talking about that book, I give it to somebody that does enjoy that, because you are talking to people that are going to enjoy, you know, have similar reading interests.
It's so subjective.
And that's why it's called commercial fiction.
And also too, you know, we've got a segment and you would have seen it on Facebook.
on Thursday, two PM and it's called What Are You Reading and it's Live.
And do you know what I find too?
the i and industry people, I'm guilty of this and I know a lot of people are.
We tend to use all the language like imprint, like genre, like new releases, and we're using all of this language.
But when I talk to my readers
They're not using that language.
They're just they really honestly they read literary fiction, they read commercial fiction, they read historical fiction, they read less so fantasy in my group.
But either way, they're not thinking about genre.
They're thinking about story all of the time.
And they're not even thinking new releases.
They're thinking, oh, you know, does Tim Winton have a new book out?
They're not thinking, Oh, there's a new release and it's Tim Winton and they'll read across all genres.
They don't really talk genres at all.
You know, they just don't.
But then we have popularity in genres.
And at the moment, what do you think?
