It's so great to chat to you and I'm very excited.
My name is Chloe.
I am originally from New Zealand and in New Zealand I started the first multi-craft craft workshop business.
So what that means is it's a lot like paint and sip where people would come along and they'd paint a painting and have drinks with their friends.
It's a lot like that, only I would focus on different crafts.
So I would do things like polymer clay workshops, terrarium workshops.
I did collab with a watercolor artist friend of mine.
So we did a more traditional paint and sip.
So those sorts of things, and we'd set up the space, invite people along, get a
a liquor license.
People would serve people glasses of wine and snacks and they would just pretty much just craft and have a different kind of girls night out.
So that was what my business centered around in New Zealand.
And now I'm setting up a similar thing in the States where I host polymer clay airing making workshops from my home studio upstairs.
And
In my house, I'm doing that out of Seattle.
I'm also just really looking to encourage people or provide insight and guidance if anyone else wants to try doing what I do, because it's been such a fun journey.
And I just think it's really helped supplement my small business income with when I was selling polymer clay earrings.
And because sometimes it was tricky, it was during COVID.
And there weren't a lot of craft fairs at the time.
