North Carolina got eliminated.

They kind of eliminated me because they had signed Brennan Haywood.

So it was kind of like, even though I felt like I'm not Brennan, that guy's a banger, shot-blocking, like true five-man.

So in my mind –

But in their eyes, they're like, we're just taking one big.

So Dean and Coach Smith have reached out to my high school coach and let them know, like, hey, we're kind of moving on.

We got a commitment from a local kid, Brendan Haywood.

And Brendan and I played against each other at the night camp.

So I was like, oh, that's actually a really good pickup.

And there was all this like scandal stuff.

And my dad, especially my high school coach was like, not that I was doing anything wrong, but like, hey, you need to kind of just stay away from that stuff and let it kind of settle, right?

So then Steve Lavin gets the job and all these different things.

He's like, hey, just give it a little bit.

Like it's all going to die down.

And in my mind, I'm like, man, I'm trying to get this decision done.
