So like the summer of my junior year, so it would have been summer of 1995.

And, you know, there wasn't shoe circuit, you know, Nike, you know, teams or Adidas teams.

And, you know, it was, it was camps.

So it was like the Nike all American camp, the ABCD or slash Adidas all American camp.

And so it was just like,

One week, you'd fly out there and Nike would bring in the top 100 kids or 120 kids from all classes, mostly rising seniors and some juniors and maybe a very few sophomores.

And I went to the Nike All-American Camp.

I think there was like maybe 10 of us from the California area.

And it was in Indianapolis.

They actually played at the Dome out there.

And –

I had a really good team and my point guard was Mike Bibby.

And any big guy in the country wants to play with Mike Bibby, right?

Because if you ran the floor or if you found a window to get open, he delivered the pass on time on target.

And so he's the ultimate creator, and I was the ultimate finisher.

So I played well simply because I ran the floor, he delivered the ball, easy dunks, easy layups.

And then I would pick pop, or I would space pop, or I would trail.

I would trail until kind of a transition or secondary three, and I shot the ball well.

So that was when it really, really started.

And because I made shots, we played well, and our team won, so we were always on the main court.
