That's when it all started, and it came flooding in, in an era where, you know, again, there was like three or four you wanted to be seen by, one of them for sure, USA, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, and like Slam Magazine was back then.
Yeah, my high school coach –
and my parents.
So my high school coach, Adam Keefe played there, former Utah Jazz.
And so my high school coach had kind of went through the process with Adam.
And so we felt, my family and I felt really, really comfortable, like, letting me focus on, because I had, like, this is what you had to do really well in the SAT and academically.
And this is when, you know, standardized testing was big to get into Division I. And so my parents were very big on, like, hey, let coach.
handle all the calls and, you know, filter out what he needs to do and talk to them.
And then like, you just play, especially my junior year.
Right.
And so everything went through, my dad kind of filled us some calls, but really my high school coach really took care of me.
Honestly, it just kind of depends the player you are, right?
Like for me back then as like a 16-year-old, you know, high school kid, I depended a lot, right?
I depended a lot on who I played with and the style of play.
It's just the truth, right?
Like if I don't have –
a pass for cerebral high IQ point guard on my team.
