It's, you know, if you had to play golf with one president and you wanted them to be as honest as possible, I'd probably pick Carter.
He was like the ultimate rule follower.
Didn't really play much golf, but yeah, Biden,
played golf in kind of the same way he navigated his life, which is like slightly fast and loose with facts.
I mean, remember this is a guy who was driven out of the 1988 presidential campaign before he even got a vote in 1987 over, um, taking without acknowledgement, uh, uh, some rhetoric from a politician named Neil Canuck.
Um, and
You know, he's always been a little like that.
You know, I think because Trump both preceded and proceeded him, it gets forgotten.
He was a pretty good high school wide receiver in Delaware.
And he goes to play...
wide receiver in college, and his grades are so bad, allegedly, that his parents don't let him.
And then as he's come back, I think it's his sophomore year for the team, he meets his then, who would then go on to be his first wife, not Jill, but his first wife, and sort of moves his life up to be with her.
And he always contended like, well, I was a great wide receiver.
It's not entirely clear.
He was a good high school wide receiver.
There's no question about that.
But like a lot of these guys, there is some level of embellishment that goes into, especially their athletic accomplishments.
And Biden was no exception.
