So I thought it was risky in a lot of regards.

And I frankly was a bit mystified by the motivation for it.

at the end of the first set, which is perhaps part of the reason why she kind of fell off a cliff there in the quality of play at the end of the match.

And also, that's the reason why supposedly she didn't come to press and give a press conference afterward, because she was excused because of the knee problem.

She's had those knee issues before.

You haven't played singles in four years, you go out on that slippery grass, bad things can happen.

All in all, it wasn't as bad as I expected, and I think her opponent, who was ranked in the 80s and hadn't really won a match all year, was surprisingly good.

But then Serena also made her look good by not being able to move and track down some of the shots that the players would have tracked down.
