You come up, and maybe you're not a known commodity yet, and so you get that kind of new... The advantage of being the new guy, but then pitchers adjust to you, and you have to kind of adjust back.
What is that like for a guy, especially a guy who's coming in from a new league or is new to the majors and having success the way you did or the way Okamoto has from Japan?
320 with 30 you know so like you learn how to blend both things i think yeah it's uh and yeah if everyone could do the 320 with 30 uh we'd have a lot i was trying they wouldn't let me play enough that year i would if you've got me 600 bats that year i would i think i would have hit it there you go and now now it's a time where the league ops is like only 700 so um it's uh it's tough going chris this was great man thanks so much and great to catch up
There you go.
There you go.
One of those 10 or 11 game winning streaks in there.
They just need to take some naps or something like that.
Thanks, Chris.
Okay.
Chris Colbell, former Blue Jays, the Pelletero app.
If you are a player and, you know, a lot of good data in that app, as far as games, they did a really cool thing.
Late April, by the way, that you should go check out on Chris's socials or the Pelletero socials.
Jordan Walker has obviously been a big breakout star this year for the Cardinals.
Kind of a post-hype sleeper struggle the first couple years.
Still pretty young, but getting a full boatload of plate appearances now.
And one of the best hitters in baseball and a really cool story.
They did a great breakdown using the app and kind of showing you what you can do.
So if you're a youth player, you coach or have kids or whatever, check that out.
Also, check out tonight, the Blue Jays play the Baltimore Orioles at 635.
It is Patrick Corbin against Chris Bassett, the first of four.
