When when the twins came into town, I remember the twins specifically 'cause it was my old team.

It it literally felt like

w we were a big league team and they were not.

Um we beat them handily, right?

Like we had this energy about us, this air about us once we did

uh make the transition um into being that team that we became that went into the playoffs.

So um it definitely has an effect on things.

It's interesting where Toronto this year has kind of been like both, right?

Like they've they've unloaded some pieces, but still like maintained a really quality roster that can make a run at it.

So um I think in the Blue Jays case and I think what Schneid was probably referring to was like, look, all the guys that are moving know that they're moving.

And and that's it.

Let's let's be what we are.

Um and let's make a run at this thing 'cause we're clearly not out of it yet, right?

And that was one of the things that I talked to him at Fenway about, which was before the deadline.

It was like, why can't we win fifteen in a row or ten in a row or twelve in a row like Boston had?

And like if you just do that a month sooner

all of a sudden, you know, you become a buyer at the deadline instead of like this kind of limbo state.

But I I think the cool part for the Jays is the fact that they're still a really talented and capable roster at this point.

I think it starts with authenticity, right?

Um, the the first thing I noticed when I became part of the Jays and and Alex had talked openly at the time about, you know, wanting to bring in good culture guys, right? 'Cause historically he felt like he was building rosters that on paper looked really good, but you know, hadn't really thought about the human.
