A good culture to me, it starts with players being able to be themselves, right?

Uh it sounds stupid, uh, that as a big leaguer, like you would have people who feel like they're not being themselves.

And I I would argue that in the big leagues it's the hardest to be yourself, right?

Because you have so many outside influences and you have rookies and arbitration guys and post arbitration guys and free agency and all this stuff.

Like there's all these dynamics that kinda like affect

how each player, you know, perceives the day they have to go out and do their work.

Right.

So uh in Minnesota, I felt like I walked on eggshells in our clubhouse, right?

And that's not anybody's fault other than the personalities in the clubhouse were what they were.

When I came to Toronto, I felt it immediately.

And I even said it when I got sent down in my meeting, I said, I don't know how many games this team's gonna win, but it's gonna be a lot of fun doing it.

And it and then realistically, like it has to be fun.

Right.

You're you're together so long.

and f for so much of your days that if you can't enjoy each other's company and enjoy the game, then forget it, right?

Like you're just not gonna win.

You don't have a chance to be a winning team.

And that's why I talk about

the people about championship players.
