Why do they keep talking to Illinois if they have everything they want from Indiana and if they're going to advance the potential for building a stadium in Indiana?
It's to get a better deal
in Illinois.
JB Pritzker, the governor, obviously you all know that, I don't want to be that complete, but he said yesterday that the Bears have been initiating phone calls to him and to legislative leaders.
They've opened the door for a special session.
Now Pritzker wants to have a clear bill, one plan that
that there's reasonable confidence can get passed, but the Bears want to stay in Illinois, and they decided, and it may be as simple as what the Chiefs did.
They couldn't get what they wanted in Missouri, so they go to Kansas, and they get their stadium.
The Bears look at the map.
They see Indiana.
